For over a year, From the Concrete has showcased local poets, rappers, and artists. Next Tuesday, September 27th will be the final show with special guest, A Dark Skinned Ghost. Join us at 6PM at Mount Sequoia’s Millar Lodge for one last evening of support for incredible local talent.

It’s that time of year again !! Grads and Undergrads come out to the Black Graduates Student Association’s 2nd annual BBQ on Thursday, September 29th, at the Gardens. There will be live music, games, food from Second Hand Smoke, and more!
Yin Yoga for Social Justice is perfect for people like us yearning for calm in a world of chaos. Try out Day by Day Yoga Studio every Thursday with instructor Shakira Eakins from 9 to 10am. She also leads a gentle flow from 6 to 7pm every Thursday as well!
Only one more Sunday left! Relax before the week every Sunday at Fayetteville Public Library with our good friend Robin Bruce. She'll guide you through a meditation that will get you centered and ready for Monday!

Join the Phi Alpha Omega Chapter in conjunction with community partners; NWA Chapter of National Black MBA Association and Tyson Foods for The HBCU Experience. Saturday, September 24th from 11am-2pm at Northwest Arkansas Community College. If you are interested in learning more about historically black colleges and universities, the financial aid process and campus life, this is the event for you! NWA and surrounding area students are encouraged to attend. Please register via EventBrite.

FORMAT IS ALMOST HERE!
FORMAT is a multidisciplinary experience unifying over eighty live music acts with two dozen visual, performance, and institutional artists from around the world. Set on 250 acres of a natural landing strip surrounded by a forested ravine, it is just five minutes from downtown Bentonville, AR. The festival aims to encourage discovery, spark curiosity, and build community.
FORMAT welcomes a diverse range of globally renowned international and local musicians and artists, alongside emerging talent and a myriad of special performances and surprise acts.
Are you up for a close encounter with zany musical theatre fun? Check out It Came From Outer Space before the out-of-this world fun ends -- now through Sun. 9/25. Also, be sure to check out the Post-Apocalyptic-1950s-Retro-Southwest-Sci-Fi Themed Cocktails on the third floor of TheatreSquared! Overlooking the Dickson St. area on our rooftop bar, Area 52 will transport visitors to another realm with fun, sci-fi decor and themed drinks. There is no charge for entry and the pop-up bar is open to all members of the public, limited seating available.
